Project Neon Climb

BR-2026-6783 · Westridge Motors · Q2 Electric Vehicle Launch, Premium Network Spot · Issued May 21, 2026 · Due May 24, 2026
The Scene

Premium network spot for Westridge's first all-electric lineup. Picture locked. VO is conversational, confident, future-leaning but not sci-fi. The spot does NOT use our typical dealer promo sonic palette (that generic rock/alt thing we've leaned on for years). This is a reset. The visual edit moves fast but the camera lingers on vehicle details in the final third. Music needs to leave room for VO throughout but especially in the close when the tagline and model name land.

The Music

We need a euphoric electronic instrumental that feels like momentum and optimism without veering into EDM festival territory or retrofuturism. Propulsive but not relentless.

Direction
  • The genre is electronic but lean toward the polished, melodic side of the palette. Arpeggiated synths, bright pads, crisp percussion. Avoid anything too minimal or too maximal. We want it to feel engineered (intentional, clean) but not cold.
  • Music starts at timecode 00:00 and runs continuous. Build gently through the first 15 seconds, peak around 00:18, then pull back slightly at 00:24 to let the tagline breathe. No hard drops or silence, just dynamic shaping.

Use: The melodic optimism and propulsive arpeggios are the right vibe. But we need something more restrained in the low end and less festival-anthem in the peak. No big vocal chop moments.
Jon Hopkins, Emerald Rush
Use: The clean production and sense of forward motion work well. But this is too minimal and ambient for our needs. We need more rhythmic presence and brightness in the mids and highs.
