Project Still Water

Pellumin is launching a new specialty treatment platform focused on chronic pain management. The campaign centers on patients returning to small moments of normalcy, not dramatic transformations. Picture is still being refined, so music will establish the tonal anchor that edit will follow. The VO is a single patient first-person account, gentle and unforced.

We need a track that holds emotional weight without tilting into sentiment. Think restrained, textural ambient with warmth embedded in the production rather than melody. The piece should feel like a held breath, slowly released. The creative tension is finding music that supports genuine emotion while staying out of the way of the patient's voice. This should feel like witnessing something private, not being told how to feel about it. The track must leave continuous space for VO throughout, never competing for attention.

• →Music enters late, after the patient has already started speaking. It should feel like the track is responding to them, not introducing them.
• →Use sustained tones or slow-moving pads as the foundation. Avoid arpeggios, avoid pulse. Movement should be glacial.
• →If you introduce melodic elements, keep them in the lower-mid register. No high shimmer, no ascending piano lines.
• →The :15 cutdown should be structurally identical to the final :15 of the master, not a separate composition. Think of it as the resolution section standing alone.
